Florida SB 670: Forbid Smoking and Vaping on Public Beaches and in Public Parks
Senate Bill 670 i is sponsored by Republican Senator Joe Gruters and would mimic the City of Miami Beach's recent ban on smoking marijuana in public (including parks and beaches.)
SB 670 would place a permanent ban on all vaping and smoking within public parks.

If SB 670 became law, it would take effect next summer.
While second-hand smoke is a concern, at what point does one's liberty to consume cannabis as a constitutional right end? If passed, that right will end at the public beaches and parks in Florida.
